So me and the kids headed down to SLC this weekend to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa. We started out at the zoo. What a blast! Aunt Deedre' even sprung for a carosel ride. MJ wasn't sure at the beginning but loved it by the end of the ride. However, like any 2 year old, when the sun got high and the trail got long, she was done with the zoo and it was time to go.
After that we went to my parent's cabin in Kamas. MJ loved just running around and getting dirty. We even went to the rec center to go swimming. Gus just sat in the 1 inch water and played and played and played. MJ didn't even cry when she got her face wet. Which was a surprise, seeing how shampooing her hair in the bathtub is a huge ordeal. All in all. It was great!!!
